Platform Terms of Service.
SIX7 Plumbing is a digital dispatch and matchmaking platform, not a plumbing contractor. These terms constitute the entire legal agreement between you (the Client) and the Platform.
Last Updated: September 28, 2026
SIX7 Plumbing is operated by a New Mexico (USA) LLC. Our sole function is to verify your problem, quote a dispatch fee, and route your request to an independent plumbing contractor. We do not perform plumbing work, we do not own the tools, and we do not employ the technicians.
Work is performed exclusively by independent contractors. To accommodate different budgets, SIX7 offers two distinct labor tiers:
Certified Tier: Technicians holding NVQ (National Vocational Qualifications) or equivalent certifications for complex diagnostics and installations.
Budget Tier (Non-Certified): Unskilled laborers or assistants for basic manual tasks (e.g., simple unclogging, moving parts). Clients requesting the lowest possible rate, or those we assess as requiring budget-friendly options, will be dispatched Budget Tier labor.
Assumption of Risk: By accepting a Budget Tier dispatch, the Client explicitly acknowledges that these workers are not certified and assumes 100% of the risk regarding their skill level, judgment, and workmanship.
You pay for work explicitly communicated and executed, not for subjective expectations.
Explicit Scope: You must clearly define what you want done before the technician begins. If it is not explicitly stated and agreed upon, it is not in the scope.
No Assumptions: Technicians will not guess your intentions. If you expect a specific aesthetic outcome, brand of part, or secondary fix, you must state it explicitly.
"While You're Here" Requests: Any additional work requested after arrival requires a new scope agreement and will be billed as a separate task.
The Split: The total invoice consists of the Platform Dispatch Fee (retained by SIX7) and the Contractor Labor/Parts Fee (paid to the technician).
Rates: Visit fee LKR 2,500 (0–5 km) with the published distance ladder; hourly labor at published rates; parts at published markup tiers; after-hours (outside 9:00–17:00, Sundays) +40% on visit and labor. Minimum 1-hour billing.
Discharge: Payment to the SIX7 dispatch coordinator fully discharges your obligation to the Platform.
Contractor Responsibility: The physical work is performed at your property at your own risk. The assigned Independent Contractor is solely responsible for providing their own "Operational Coverage Liability" (insurance or self-insurance) for property damage, personal injury, or faulty workmanship.
Zero Platform Liability: SIX7 provides zero operational coverage. We do not insure the contractors, their tools, or their actions. If a contractor damages your property or fails to fix the issue, your claim is strictly against the Contractor, not SIX7.
To the absolute maximum extent permitted by law:
SIX7's Total Liability Cap: SIX7's maximum financial liability for any claim, dispute, or loss arising from a service request is strictly capped at the exact Platform Dispatch Fee retained by SIX7 for that specific transaction.
Example: If a job costs $1,000 total, the contractor takes $950, and SIX7 retains a $50 platform fee, SIX7's absolute maximum liability to you is $50. Not a cent more.
Exclusions: SIX7 is entirely absolved of liability for consequential damages, lost business, property damage, personal injury, or water damage caused by the contractor.
SIX7 administratively coordinates a 6-month return visit if a contractor's repair fails. This is a coordination service, not a warranty or insurance policy. If the contractor refuses to honor it or goes out of business, SIX7 has no financial obligation to refund you or pay for a replacement contractor.
Step 1: Direct resolution through the SIX7 dispatch desk.
Step 2: Unresolved disputes regarding the Platform (not the physical plumbing work) are subject to binding arbitration seated in New Mexico, USA, under AAA rules. Individual claims only (no class actions).
Governing Law: New Mexico, USA. Sri Lankan mandatory consumer protections apply only to the extent they cannot be legally waived.
Additional Details
Any additional work requested after arrival requires a new scope agreement and will be billed as a separate task. Unconfirmed additions are not covered by the shield and are not the platform's responsibility.
Hidden work is assessed on site and the rate is confirmed with you before work starts (e.g., a "blocked drain" that is a sewer line bills at sewer rates). Nothing outside the published rate card can appear on your bill.
Step 1 is direct resolution through the SIX7 dispatch desk. Unresolved disputes regarding the Platform (not the physical plumbing work) are subject to binding arbitration seated in New Mexico, USA, under AAA rules. Individual claims only (no class actions).
Unpaid accounts and verified fraudulent claims are recorded and service may be refused until the account is cleared.
The assigned Independent Contractor is solely responsible for providing their own Operational Coverage Liability (insurance or self-insurance) for property damage, personal injury, or faulty workmanship. SIX7 provides zero operational coverage and does not warrant contractor insurance status.
Yes; the version published at the time of your dispatch request governs that request. If any clause is unenforceable, the rest stands.
